Girly Mom

My name is Connie and I’m a southern girl.

I married a southern guy 18 years ago.  Whoa, when did that happen?  Obviously I was 4 when we got married.

I’m attempting to raise three kids, ages 11, 9, and 4.

I enjoy being a mom but I miss those carefree days of shopping with friends, going to movies and eating out.

Now, I spend my days dealing with homework, overwhelming amounts of laundry, temper tantrums, ball practice and the dilemma of what to fix for dinner.

I’m enjoying all the busy mommy stuff but if a chance for a short respite at the nail salon comes along, I’m all over it.
