Go with the $19.99 snow-cone maker from Target. You throw some cubes into the canister, it shaves the ice, you pour some syrup on it and the kids love it. We used it at the lake house. I hated those damn Aqua Dots. I was actually HAPPY when they recalled them because it turned out it was the date rape drug. I was pissed that I had like $200 worth of un-usable freaking aqua dots though.... but at least I did not have to sit and do it with her anymore. I almost thought about packaging up the aqua-dots in dime bags and selling them to the NAVY guys down at the beach to use in the bars in an effort to re-coupe some of my money ;) My BFF bought her daughter Baby Choo Choo (one of those live baby dolls that cries for food etc.) after her daughter BEGGED and BEGGED. After two weeks, she was in the garage and noticed one of her good towels over in the corner, when she went over to get it, she found Baby Choo Choo wrapped up in it. Her daughter had killed Baby Choo Choo, wrapped it in a towel, and shoved it in a corner to die - HAHAHAHAHA!!! She called me and said she did not know whether to laugh... or be really worried! Also on my list... all those color works things where you have to add paint or sand... HATE THEM! Ugghh, I feel ya! I hated those damn Aqua Dots.
